Turbulence Training is probably one of the better workout programs out there. Here's a bit of information about it to see if you are interested.
What is Turbulence Training
Turbulence Training combines interval training and resistance training. You workout 20-30 minutes three times a week.
Interval training is short intervals or periods of high intensity exercises followed by low intensity exercises. Each interval can last from around 30 to 60 seconds.
Resistance training is using an opposing force, like your body weight, to increase your fitness.

You don't do the same exercises over and over again with Turbulence Training. If you change the types of exercises you do, you get better results. Your body can become used to the same activity very quickly. If you change your exercises, your body is jolted out of complacency. And this jolt is what kick starts the fat burning from your body.
In every program of Turbulence Training, you're given different resistance training exercises to do. And every four weeks, you're given a new Turbulence Training program to try. Variety of exercises is a main component of Turbulence Training.
The only equipment you need for Turbulence Training is a pair of dumbbells, maybe a weight bench and an exercise ball, and most importantly, your own body weight.
Cardio doesn't work for fat loss
One of the big things in Turbulence Training is little or no cardiovascular exercises. Cardiovascular exercises are those activities like running. According to Turbulence training, cardio doesn't give you the results that you want to burn fat and get a nicely toned body.
Most of us have got it in our heads that we have to run for an hour every morning to get the weight off and keep it off. Not so, according to Turbulence Training. Three 25 minute workouts can get you better results.
Turbulence Training is clear on this point - You don't need 45 or 60 minutes of interval training to lose fat. 25-30 minutes is plenty. And this includes a warm up and stretching. Quality is way more important than quantity in Turbulence Training.

Turbulence Training for Women too
Yes, Turbulence Training is for women too. Even though is sounds like it only applies to fitness freaks, it is probably better suited for the average woman. Fitness freaks have it in their head that they have to (or want to - I didn't call them freaks for nothing!) do hours of exercise per day to have a nicely toned body. That's not quite true according to Turbulence Training.
Hey, if you want to exercise for hours everyday, go ahead. But the point is that you don't have to workout for hours every single day. It's actually of benefit to you if don't workout everyday and have a day off. Your body needs to recover.
You can also exercise in your own home with little or no equipment with Turbulence Training. A lot of the studies to determine the effectiveness of Turbulence Training were done on women. The women who did interval training burnt a lot more fat than those who did pure cardio, like running.
