Exercise can do wonders in making you feel good about yourself. You really feel a sense of accomplishment after you work out. However, it can sometimes be hard to get the motivation to do anything physical, especially when you've packed on the pounds and are feeling awful about yourself.
The thought of exercising made me cringe. I thought to myself that there was no way I could exercise being as fat as I was. I felt so uncomfortable with walking to kitchen, which I did a lot of. But you've got to start somewhere. As I started noticing the positive effects subliminal messaging was having with food, I thought that I'd may as well give subliminal messaging a try with working out.
It took me a while to get up and start exercising regularly. I felt so uncomfortable the first time I walked to the shops. But for some reason, I did it anyway. I got up and started walking. I didn't think that I was capable of doing anything else.
And looking back, I believe that it was these negative thoughts about myself that was the biggest barrier. The "I can't do it" mentality was my biggest hurdle. You can do anything you put your mind to. Sometimes, it will seem easy. Other times, it will seem like the hardest thing that you've ever done. I think the most important thing is not to give up.
Keep on trying, even though it seems like you will never get to where you want to be. And that is what subliminal messaging did for me. It helped me change how I think about working out and myself.
Subliminal messaging has also made me aware of just how powerful your mind can be to help you get you what you want.
Again, please be aware that subliminal messaging isn't an instant magic cure. You're unlikely to wake up and want to go to the gym for hours every day. That's not how it works. Or, at least, it wasn't like that for me.
What subliminal messaging does is that it helps you start thinking about exercise differently. After listening to the subliminal messages for a while, you start to think that exercise isn't really that awful after all. The thought of going for a walk didn't horrify me as much as it used to.
Just be aware that you're the one that still has to get moving and work out. Subliminal messaging just makes it easier to do.
